Faculty of Advanced Sciences and Technologies

Graduate students constitute one of the most valuable capacities of the country's higher education system in both fundamental and applied research. Guiding graduate research toward the development and application of advanced technologies, expanding demand-driven applied research, and addressing the technological needs and research challenges of industry and governmental organizations are among the major strategic priorities of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT). The framework for implementing these priorities is outlined in the Directive on the Strategic Alignment of Graduate Theses and Dissertations in Universities and Higher Education and Research Institutions (Directive No. 53963/9, issued on June 23, 2020).

In light of these considerations, Iran has an urgent need to expand and effectively utilize emerging technologies across various fields of science and engineering. As a representative of the new generation of higher education institutions, the Faculty of Advanced Sciences and Technologies at Razi University is committed to facilitating the transition toward an entrepreneurial university. In addition to fulfilling its traditional educational and research missions, the Faculty seeks to promote the development and application of advanced technologies, strengthen demand-driven applied research, and strategically direct graduate students' research toward solving real-world scientific, technological, and industrial challenges.
