Call for Applications for International Students – Spring Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year
  Razi University is pleased to announce the admission of international students for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs for the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.  

A) General Admission Requirements

1.   Applicants must not hold Iranian citizenship and must possess a valid foreign passport.
2. Applicants must have no legal impediments to residing in Iran for educational purposes.
3. Applicants must present valid certificates of completion for high school, bachelor’s, or master’s degrees along with transcripts for the corresponding level for admission to higher levels of study.
4. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the Persian language. (Applicants without Persian proficiency must attend a Persian language course at the TPSOL Center of Razi University during the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. Only after successfully completing the course will they be introduced to the relevant academic departments in the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year for coursework according to the curriculum.)

Note 1: Preliminary admission does not guarantee formal enrollment or the right to study at Razi University.  
Note 2: Admitted students can only attend the university with a student visa.  
Note 3: Studying at Razi University is a full-time process, and final admissions require full-time presence at the university during the study period.

B) Required Documents

1.   A scanned copy of the first page of the applicant’s passport or valid residence document in JPEG format (dimensions: 600/800, size: 50–100 KB).
2.   A recent passport-size photo of the applicant (males without a tie, females in Islamic attire) in JPEG format (dimensions: 600/400, size: 50–100 KB).
3.   Scanned copies of educational certificates and transcripts as follows:
   
• High school diploma and transcripts for undergraduate applicants.
• Bachelor’s degree and transcripts for master’s applicants.
• Master’s degree and transcripts for PhD applicants. (File size less than 150 KB.)
Note 4: The minimum acceptable GPA for master’s and doctoral programs is 60 and 70, respectively. Applications with lower GPAs will not be considered.

4.   A completed resume form approved by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology in Persian or English (file size less than 150 KB).
5.   Research profile (published articles in scientific journals, conference presentations, published books, etc.).
6.   A valid Persian language proficiency certificate (if available).
7.   A registration tracking code from the website of the Students Affairs Organization (http://old.saorg.ir:8081/).
   Note 5: All documents must be named in English as follows: Full name (as per passport)-Document type (e.g., Karrar Awad Mutlaq-Passport).

   Note 6: Academic documents and transcripts are accepted in Persian, English, or Arabic. For the initial application, unofficial translations are acceptable. Official translations will be required upon acceptance.
   

C) Submission Process

Eligible applicants must send the required documents as email attachments to international.applicants@razi.ac.ir by Friday, January 10, 2025.
Note 7: All documents must be in high-resolution JPEG format.
Note 8: The email subject line must follow this format: Full name in English (as per passport)-Academic level the applicant applies for (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD)-Field of study (e.g., Karrar Awad Mutlaq-PhD-Arabic Literature).
Applications not adhering to the above instructions will not be processed.
