Core Responsibilities:
 
  • Providing student welfare services, including financial assistance and loans, nutrition, accommodation, insurance, cultural facilities, and other student support services, as well as academic and educational facilities as required.
  • Providing and supporting services related to student sports, physical education, extracurricular activities, and other areas of student development.
  • Providing student health-care, counseling, psychological support, and other related services.
  • Providing educational, health-care, counseling, welfare, accommodation, sports, and other support services to international students.
  • Adopting evidence-based and systematic approaches to identifying and addressing student welfare challenges; responding to students' needs and requests; and consulting with relevant University authorities to facilitate appropriate decision-making and implementation.
  • Ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations governing student affairs and supporting the implementation of relevant national policies and legislation, including the long-term national development vision, applicable development plans, and student subsidy-targeting policies.
  • Supervising the Student Affairs Office, Dormitory Administration, Physical Education Office, and the Office for Health and Welfare Services for International Students to ensure the effective and proper performance of their respective responsibilities.
  • Developing and implementing appropriate outsourcing arrangements for selected student welfare services, particularly in the areas of nutrition and accommodation, with the aim of improving efficiency and service delivery.
  • Enhancing the satisfaction of the University's students, faculty members, and staff by improving the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of student welfare and support services.
  • Planning and coordinating student extracurricular activities in cooperation with the Physical Education Office, Health Services, Dormitory Administration, and other relevant University units.
  • Serving as Secretary of the Special Cases Commission and coordinating its administrative and executive affairs.
  • Serving as a member of the University Council.
  • Serving as a member of the University Cultural Council.
  • Participating in the affairs and programs of the Office for Students and Faculty Members of Martyrs and Veterans and coordinating relevant student support services.
  • Serving as a member of the Student Disciplinary Committee.
  • Carrying out other duties and responsibilities assigned by the University President or relevant University authorities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
