Razi University

The Faculty of Agriculture in Sonqor commenced its educational activities in October 2013, upon receiving formal approval, by admitting 21 students into the Bachelor’s program in Biosystems Engineering. In 2015, the programs for Agricultural Mechanization Engineering and Plant Production Engineering (focusing on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants) were introduced, followed by the addition of Food Industry Machinery Engineering in 2016. The Faculty is currently expanding its academic programs and enhancing its educational and welfare facilities in proportion to its growing resources. At present, 120 students are enrolled in this Faculty.

Faculty Achievements:

The Faculty boasts numerous notable accomplishments, including students consistently achieving single-digit rankings in national graduate entrance examinations, the registration of several patents by students, and the active involvement of four student organizations: the Student Basij, the Scientific Association, the Red Crescent Society, and the Entrepreneurs’ Club.
