A Cooperation Memorandum was signed between Razi University and Qasr-e Shirin Free Trade Zone emphasizing the establishment of an international campus of Razi University in Qasr-e Shirin Free Trade Zone;

According to the Public Relations report of Razi University, an intimate meeting between Dr. Mohammad Nabi Ahmadi, President of Razi University, and Dr. Nader Naderi, Executive Director of Qasr-e Shirin Free Trade Industrial Zone, was held in the university's office with the aim of exploring areas of joint cooperation.
In this meeting, Dr. Ahmadi, President of Razi University, while wishing Dr. Naderi more success, expressed his satisfaction with the establishment of the Qasr-e Shirin Free Zone.  He considered this as a great opportunity for the development of Kermanshah province, and expressed his hope that this would lead to desirable and tangible results in Jihadi and revolutionary government of Dr. Raisi.  He further stated that this opportunity can lead to eradication of deprivation and create jobs in Kermanshah province.
Dr. Ahmadi expressed his hope regarding the positive consequences of the establishment of the free trade zone in the direction of the prosperity of the province, and stressed, "We must try to establish Qasr-e Shirin Free Trade Zone by using the experiences of the old free zones of the country, studying other free zones in the world and take advantage of scientific capacity of the prominent professors of Razi University. Definitely, Razi University will not spare any efforts in this direction in order to fulfill its social responsibility."
The President of Razi University added, "Considering the motto of the year, which is " Knowledge-based and job-creating production" and its importance, Qasr-e Shirin Free Zone can take steps in the path of job-creating and knowledge-based production and provide valuable services to the province and the country.
Referring once again to the enormous capacity of Razi University with having experts and experienced professors in many scientific fields, he announced, " We will eagerly use all the capacities of the university to create the scientific foundations and infrastructure for the free zone."

Then, Dr. Naderi, the executive director of the Qasr-e Shirin Trade-Industrial Free Zone Organization, while presenting a report on the formation process of the region, he considered two important actions including: "Approval of the Statute by the Guardian Council" and "Development of the Community Plan of the Region" as prerequisites and precursors to other actions. He expressed hope that in the near future, in addition to the approval of the region's statute, the process of developing a comprehensive plan will also begin.

He considered Kermanshah province as a land of opportunities for investment and mentioned that one of the most important opportunities is the establishment of the Qasr-e Shirin free industrial trade zone and added , "Having two official borders of Parviz Khan and Khosravi, which connects our province to the Kurdistan region, as well as the central government of Iraq and the Arab sector, this region can be called the gateway to transformation and development of Kermanshah province.

Dr. Naderi pointed out, "Motivated and capable investors have declared their readiness for investment by visiting the free zone office, and we aim to start operational and field work as soon as possible with support of domestic and foreign investors and witness job creation for several thousands of youth and see economic prosperity in the region."

One of the important subjects in the memorandum signed in this meeting was the joint action to establish the international campus of Razi University in Qasr-e Shirin Free Zone, which both parties emphasized on its execution.
