A 27-step leap of Razi University's global position in the Global Green Metric system
The Green Management Center of Razi University announced the improvement of RU's (Razi University) global position by 27 steps in the Green Metric 2022 global ranking system.
According to the Public Relations Report of Razi University, the Green Management Center of Razi University announced "Based on the published results of the Green Metric ranking system in order to rank sustainable (green) universities in the world, Razi University once again succeeded to improve its position by 27 steps compared to last year, ranking 195th in the world among the 1050 universities present in this global competition. This is while RU has succeeded to maintain its position among the top 6 universities in the country during the last 3 years.
The objective of the UI Green Metric Ranking is to assess current conditions and policies related to Green Campus and Sustainability in universities, globally. There are 82 indicators and 6 criteria i.e. Setting and Infrastructure (SI), Energy and Climate Change (EC), Waste (WS), Water (WR), Transportation (TR), and Education (ED).
The Green Management Center of the University owes this success to the continuous efforts of the colleagues of the University and the Green Metric Secretariat, and it expresses gratitude to all the executives, deputies and relevant units who helped this center in this regard.
It is hoped that with the continuation of this growing trend in the coming years, Razi University will be among the top 100 universities and that it can be a hub of sustainable universities in the region.
