The 7th National Conference of "Industry and University Interaction" hosted by Kermanshah came to an end with expressing appreciation to selected papers.

According to the Public Relations report of Razi University, the 7th national conference of "Industry and University Interaction" came to an end on the evening of December 24 in the meeting hall of the Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce, with expressing appreciation to the best articles.

In the closing ceremony of the national conference of "Industry and University Interaction", Engineer Keyvan Kashefi, the head of Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce, while appreciating the hard work of the conference executives, said: " The seventh national conference of Industry and University Interaction, which was hosted by Kermanshah  had some positive outcomes and we hope to witness the achievements of the aims of this conference in the form of increasing productivity, production expansion, creating employment, wealth and prosperity for the people of this province." 
Referring to Kermanshah being a host in the seventh event of the industry-university interaction conference, which was held in the last two days, he added: In this event, we witnessed the presence of more than 80 guests from all over the country and received 200 articles, some of which were presented in specialized panels of the conference.
Engineer Kashifi stated " the achievements of the conference's aims about industry-university interaction requires further measures to take". He added:  "This conference had several positive outcomes that made it different and successful compared to previous ones."
The member of the board of the Iran Chamber announced the experiences and achievements of the past 6 conferences as one of the strengths of the 7th conference and reminded: "Another strength of this conference was reducing the gap between industry and academia, which we have always complained about". In this conference, both the production sector (including various fields of industry, agriculture, tourism, etc.) and the university sector had good interactions and expressed their expectations from each other.
He also mentioned the signing of the Cooperation Memorandum between the Chamber of Commerce and Razi University as one of the important outcomes of this conference and said: "One of the main goals of this agreement is training of the workforce industries need by the universities."
The head of Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce reminded the importance of interaction between industry and university in today's world. Referring to the progress of science and technology in the world and the country, he expressed hope that the achievements of this conference will benefit the economy of the province and create wealth and prosperity for the people of Kermanshah.
Then, Dr. Hossein Mirmohammed Sadeghi, the head of educational and research institute of Iran Chamber, said: "we sometimes suffer from conference-therapy in Iran and we think that problems can be solved by holding a conference.  We made a lot of efforts not to go that way in this conference so that its achievements benefit both the industry and the university."
He considered the presence of the Chamber of Commerce as a symbol of the private sector as one of the factors that made this conference successful and added: "This conference was held with the participation of the three sides of the private sector, the public sector and the university and economic activists, the government and university professors were all present even in the specialized panels.
The head of educational and research institute of Iran Chamber expressed hope that this conference can be considered as one of the most successful conferences on industry-university interaction ten years after the first conference on industry-university interaction.
Engineer Jahanbakhsh Shokri, the head of Kermanshah's House of Industry, Mining and Trade, referring to the importance of interaction between "industry and university", stated: "Unfortunately, today we witness a deep gap between these two sectors."

He mentioned the signing of several MoUs on interaction between industry and university, many of which have not been implemented and stated: "Industries are ready to provide their facilities and capacities to the university, and the university should also come to play and welcome it.
The head of the Kermanshah Chamber of Industry, Mining and Trade stated that university graduates do not have enough experience to participate in economic enterprises and said: " Improving this situation requires cultural promotion and not being too reliant on having white -collar jobs".
At the end of this conference, the summary of specialized panels was presented and the statement of the 7th national conference of "Industry and University Interaction" was read.
Also, 14 top papers that were presented in different areas in this conference were rewarded.
In this conference, an MoU was signed between  Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce and Razi University in order to realize the achievements of the 7th National Conference of "Industry and University Interaction".
The 7th National Conference of "Industry and University Interaction" with a knowledge-based approach was held in collaboration with  Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce and Razi University on 23rd  and 24th December. Several specialized panels and educational workshops were also held in this conference.
