Two members of the scientific faculty of Razi University have achieved the title of the top researchers of the country in 2022.
According to the Public Relations report of Razi University, quoting the vice president of research and technology, two faculty members of Razi University achieved the title of top researchers in the 23rd festival of honoring top researchers, technologists and innovators of the country, which was held on December 15, 2022, with the presence of Dr. Zolfigol, Minister of Science, Research and Technology in Shahid Beheshti University.
Based on the news, Dr. Daniyal Kahrizi, the professor of the Department of Plant Production and Genetics of Razi University, achieved the title of the country's top researcher in the category of Agriculture and Natural Resources in the field of Plant Production and Genetics.

 

Also, Dr. Yaser Shahbazi, Associate Professor of the Department of Basic Sciences of Razi University, achieved the title of the country's top researcher in the category of Veterinary Medicine, in the field of food hygiene and quality control.
 

Dr. Daniyal Kahrizi is a professor of the Department of Plant Production and Genetics of Razi university with 140 articles indexed in Scopus Database, 95 national scientific articles, 40 Applied Research Projects, 11 published books, 43 national and international patents, H-index of 25, and 1952 reference citations. His specialized field of activities include plant cell and tissue culture and introduction of Camelina oil seed plant for the first time in the country, preventing the extinction of Kermanshah's water lily, and establishing 4 knowledge-based companies. He also made efforts towards the self-reliance of the country regarding of edible oil and meal.
Dr. Yaser Shahbazi is an Associate Professor of the Department of Basic Sciences of Razi university with 75 scientific articles indexed in the Scopus database, 14 national scientific articles, 10 Applied Research Projects, 3 published books, H-index of 22 and with1653 reference citation to his scientific productions in the Scopus database. He has also achieved the title of the world's one percent most cited researcher in 2022. His specialized field of activity is food hygiene and quality control, and he carries out research in the field of smart and active food packaging as well as measuring food chemical pollutants.
