Department of Plant Genetics and Production
The department of Plant Production and Genetics started its activities as the first educational department in Faculty of Agriculture in 1982, with offering Associate Degree of Planting Issues. In 1990, the department was promoted by admitting students at undergraduate level in Agricultural Engineering-Agriculture and Plant Breeding. The main goal of this department is to train students who can work as experts in different agricultural regions of the country in the production of agricultural plants or as lecturers and researchers in Agriculture universities and research centers. The Department of Plant Production and Genetics is currently engaged in the education and training of committed and expert young generation at different levels of education.

B.S: Plant Production and Genetics
Master's degree: Plant Genetics and Breeding, Agrotechnology – Crop Physiology, Agrotechnology – Crop Ecology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Agroecology.
Ph.D.: Plant Genetics and Breeding– Biometric Genetics, Plant Genetics and Breeding –Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering, Agrotechnology – Crop Physiology, Agrotechnology – Crop Ecology
