Department of Plant Genetics and Production
The Department of Plant Production and Genetics started its activities as the first educational department in the Faculty of Agriculture in 1982, with offering the Associate Degree of Planting Issues. In 1990, the Department was promoted by admitting students at the undergraduate level in Agricultural Engineering-Agriculture and Plant Breeding.
The main goal of this Department is twofold: 1) to train students as experts in different agricultural regions of the country in the production of agricultural plants; 2) to train lecturers and researchers in the field. The Department is currently engaged in the education and training of the committed and expert young generation at different levels of education.

BSc: Plant Production and Genetics
MSc: Plant Genetics and Breeding, Agrotechnology – Crop Physiology, Agrotechnology – Crop Ecology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Agroecology
Ph.D.: Plant Genetics and Breeding– Biometric Genetics, Plant Genetics and Breeding – Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering, Agrotechnology – Crop Physiology, Agrotechnology – Crop Ecology
