The Faculty of Agriculture is one of the oldest units of Razi University. It began its work in 1982 as the Agricultural Education Center with a single academic group in Plant Production.
With the expansion of academic groups and degree programs, it later became a faculty, and in 2011 it was transformed into the Campus of Agriculture and Natural Resources, consisting of three faculties: the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Engineering, the Faculty of Natural Resources, and the Faculty of Agriculture.
The Campus of Agriculture and Natural Resources encompasses 320 hectares of land, used for educational, research, and production activities.
The academic departments of the Campus of Agriculture and Natural Resources admit students at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels in various fields, welcoming applicants from both inside and outside the country.
The affiliated Units include an educational and research farm, a library, a meteorological station, a research greenhouse, laboratories and workshops, a multi-purpose sports hall, a student dormitory complex for male students (Shahid Motahari) and one for female students (Hazrat Zainab), faculty housing (20-unit and 9-unit complexes), a livestock farm, a natural history museum, a seed bank, a plant herbarium, and Central Laboratory No. 2
