History of the Department
The department of Arabic Language and Literature was founded in 1990, with the employment of its first faculty member, Mr Abdol-Sattar Qamari. This department initially offered BA students in the first few years before it began to admit students for Master's and PhD programs in the subsequent years. This department began to offer bachelor's programs in Arabic Language Translation in 2016.
