Biography

 Alireza Abdolmohammadi received his BSc in Animal Science in 2000 from Razi University, and his MSc and PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics from University of Tehran in 2003 and 2009 respectively. He began his official collaboration with Razi University in 2009, and is now an Associate Professor in the department of Animal Sciences at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Dr Abdolmohammadi has taught several courses to undergraduate students so far, including Statistics, Experimental Design in Animal Science, and Animal Breeding. Besides, the courses he has been teaching to graduate students include Advanced Statistical Methods, Application of Linear Models in Animal Breeding, Molecular Genetics, and Advanced Experimental Design. He has published several joint papers with the graduate students under his supervision in national and international prestigious scientific journals. He has also had an active role in providing on-the-farm training to the students interested in honey bee breeding, canari breeding, dog genetics, and Kurdish horse breeding. He has also succeeded in establishing a significant relationship with industry.
