Modeling magnetic power losses of Terfenel-D using Hyperbolic Tangent model
Amir Hossein Dostvandi 2024Terfenol-D is a magnetostrictive alloy that falls under the category of smart materials, composed of terbium, iron, and dysprosium. This alloy is used in actuators, sensors, and other applications due to its unique properties, such as high saturation strain, high Curie temperature, and significant functional coefficients. Like any other ferromagnetic material, Terfenol-D exhibits magnetic losses, including hysteresis, eddy currents, and excess losses, which need to be accurately calculated under various operating conditions to predict the output of actuators and sensors. When Terfenol-D is subjected to an external magnetic field and undergoes magnetization cycles, hysteresis loss occurs due to the movement and rotation of microscopic magnetic domains, eddy current loss occurs due to the generation of a magnetic field opposing the excitation field, and excess loss occurs due to lattice defects and non-uniform magnetic domains. In this thesis, research was conducted to predict magnetic losses accurately and logically, and due to reasons such as simplifying mathematical calculations and eliminating errors resulting from lengthy and complex methods used in other models, the hyperbolic tangent model was used to calculate the aforementioned losses. To this end, the model's coefficients and parameters were extracted using previous experimental results, and then the model was developed to enable the calculation of various losses. Finally, new relationships were presented to predict the model's coefficients and parameters at new frequencies. The new relationships and model used at new frequencies of 100 Hz and 300 Hz, which had not been used before, were validated, and the results were compared with those obtained from the experimental model.The results obtained in this thesis show that the use of the hyperbolic tangent model and the presented relationships can predict the magnetic power loss in terfenel-D with high accuracy in the frequency range (0 to 300 Hz).

Text based personality prediction using language modeling and deep learning
Faezeh Safari 2022Individual differences originate from one's personality, which is the most crucial factor affecting one's decisions and choices in life. In recent years, automatic personality detection from text has attracted the attention of most researchers due to its applications like recognition of qualified managers, job selection, selection of academic courses, and online businesses. However, most current methodologies focus on the statistical features of text and ignore the semantic relations and information. These writings and texts are a way to translate internal thinking and feeling in a manner that is understandable to others. The research aims to automatically predict personality from text using language modeling and deep learning. This research presents a deep learning algorithm, Convolutional Neural Networks, through two approaches for personality prediction from two benchmark datasets: Essay and MyPersonality. In the first approach, whole text is utilized for modeling, training and evaluation; However, in the second approach, key phrases derived by a multipartite graph are used. In order to extract features, three techniques of SentenceTransformer, Longformer and short-time Fourier Transform are presented and applied for the first time in the personality prediction research.

Antenna Design for Energy Harvesting
2022In this project, a microstrip antenna is presented for use in the RFEH system. In the first chapter, different EH methods are introduced. In the second and third chapters, the structure and components of the RFEH system (antenna, impedance matching circuit, and rectifier are introduced) in the fourth chapter, theory. And the final antenna design technique is discussed, which includes the introduction of the Koch curve, which is used to increase the effective length of the slot. In chapter five, at first, a microstrip antenna with a rectangular patch with a full plate is considered as the initial antenna.

Analysis of low velocity impact on fiber –metal composite cylinders
Mesbah Peiro 2022در اين پايان نامه، ضربه سرعت پايين روي لوله فلزي با پوشش كامپوزيتي الياف كربن پيچيده شده با پليمر(CFRP) با روش شبيه سازي عددي و با نرم افزار آباكوس مدلسازي شده است و مقدار نيروي تماسي، جابه جايي در راستاي شعاعي، تغيير شكل محل برخورد، كرنش پلاستيك، ميزان آسيب لوله فلزي و تنش در شرايط بارگذاري ضربه اي سرعت پايين محاسبه و مقايسه شده است. در اين پايان نامه در ابتدا براي صحه سنجي لوله كامپوزيتيCFRP حاضر تحت ضربه سرعت پايين با نتايج تحليلي و اجزا محدود حاصل از كار هاي پيشين مورد مقايسه قرار گرفته است. سپس با استفاده از نرم افزار المان محدود لوله فلزي ساده و لوله فلزي با پوشش الياف كربن پيچيده شده با پليمر مدلسازي ميگردد و معيار شكست مناسب جهت پيش بيني شكست ناشي از ضربه سرعت پايين بر روي نمونه مورد بحث به كار گرفته مي شود.نتايج به دست آمده نشان مي دهد كه لوله فلزي با پوشش CFRP بنا به جذب انرژي جنبشي ضربه زننده توسط لايه كامپوزيتي داراي تغيير شكل ، تنش ،آسيب كمتري نسبت به لوله فلزي ساده ميباشد و نيز در حالتي كه پوشش كامپوزيتي بر روي لوله قرار مي گيرد به صورت موضعي نيروي تماسي در لايه كامپوزيتي افزايش خواهد يافت و اين مهم باعث مي شود كه مقدار انرژي وارد به لوله فولادي كاهش يابد. نتايج مويد آن است كه در لوله فلزي ساده در اثر ضربه سرعت پايين ناحيه گسترده تري دچار تغييرشكل پلاستيك نسبت به لوله فلزي با پوشش كامپوزيتي ميشود.

Analysis of low-velocity impact of metal foam-filled circular tubes and Determination the amount of energy absorption due to impact
Reza Mamizade 2022Thin-walled metal tubes filled with metal foam are used as new energy absorbers in low velocity impacts, which bend and crush by absorbing the energy caused by the impact and absorb the impactor's kinetic energy. In this research, the analysis of low speed impact on circular tubes filled with metal foam and determining the amount of energy absorption due to the impact has been done. For this purpose, ABAQUS finite element software has been used and the modeling results have been compared with the results of the reference article in the litereture and the accuracy of the modeling has been ensured. In the following, 10 different models are considered for the impact of the impactor on the pipe. The results of stress, plastic strain, displacement force diagram, dimensionless displacement force diagram and absorbed energy have been extracted and discussed. The parameters investigated in this research are the pipe radius, pipe thickness, pipe length, impact point, foam effect and pipe material. By examining the results, it was found that by increasing the radius and thickness of the pipe and by decreasing the free length of the pipe, the amount of absorbed energy increases and the impact performance of the pipe improves. It was also determined that the amount of energy absorbed due to impact in the tube filled with foam is 5 times the energy absorbed in the tube without foam. In the following, by coding in MATLAB software, the values of local dentingin the first to fifth models were investigated and the results obtained were compared with the results of finite elements. It was found that the average difference of the results obtained for local displacement from finite element modeling and analytical equations is 3.5

Travel Mode Choice and Effective Factors in University's travels Behavior (Case Study: Razi University)
Mehdi Shirzadi 2022Today, due to the expansion of cities and the value of time, the need for quality tra ortation is one of the most important human needs. Among the mandatory daily trips that are of great importance are business and study trips to university. Despite the impact of university trips on urban tra ortation and traffic in the neighborhoods around the university, planning to improve its quality has received less attention from experts in the field of tra ortation and traffic. Identifying the models of vehicle selection and the factors affecting it is one of the most important things that can help planners in this field to make appropriate decisions to improve the quality of traffic of citizens, especially the academic community. The main purpose of this study is to model the vehicle selection of Razi University members in Kermanshah in daily trips to the university. In addition, finding solutions to increase the tendency of university members to use non-motorized tra ortation methods is one of the most important goals of the present study. For this purpose, the effect of different demographic, socio-economic variables of the means of travel on the travel method of university members was evaluated. Also, the attitude of individuals towards using a personal car and evaluating incentives and deterrents to change the way of traveling to public tra ortation and dynamic tra ortation were studied. In this regard, a questionnaire was used to collect the required data. In this questionnaire, which was provided to Razi University members online, the options of selected vehicles for traveling to the university, including private cars, buses, university services, taxis (line, telephone and internet), traveling with friends and family, motorcycles, It was cycling and walking. Due to the discretization of the dependent variable, the modeling of the device was performed using dual-logit, multiple-logit and backup vector discrete-selection models. According to the analysis for multiple mode, the most effective factors on the model of vehicle selection include available vehicle, distance from residence to university, being in Kermanshah and having a driver's license, and for the binary response variable, whether or not to use Public tra ortation was defined, access to a private car, the use of buses in ideal conditions and the distance from the residence to the university were the most influential factors on the models of choosing the means of travel.

Investigation of nailing on clay walls with different plasticity index
Bigan Hosseini 2021چكيده در حال حاضريكي از ايمن ترين روش حفاظت جانبي گود ها و ترانشه هاي خاكي يا سنگ سيستم نيلينگ يا معادل فارسي آن ميخكوبي مي باشد نيلينگ يكي از روش هاي تثبيت كننده موثر براي ترانشه ها وشيب ها وگودال ها درسرار جهان مي باشد نيلينگ در خاك بايد از نظر اقتصادي جذاب و از ديدگاه فني امكان پذير باشد .خاكها مناسب ونامناسب براي نيلينگ گذاري بايد مورد بررسي قرار گيرد همچنين درك رفتار دامنه خاك نيلينگ با خصوصيات آنها منجر به توصعه شناخت بهتر تغييرات در پارامترهاي شيب خاكي نيلينگ شده است . مقاومت برشي وچسبندگي در طول نيلينگ بين خاك وتزريق از فاكتور مهم تثبيت مي باشد. از آنجاكه هم اكنون ديوارهاي نيلينگ خاك به عنوان سازه هاي دائمي در نظر گرفته مي شوند نياز به مطالعه و توصيف رفتار خزش ديواره نيلينگ وجود دارد به همين دليل در ميان ديواره مورد استفاده براي نيلينگ گذاري نياز هست خاك هاي ريز دانه مورد بررسي بيشتري قرار بگيرد. خاك ريزدانه كه بخش مهمي از آن شامل رس سخت تا مقاوم .سيلت هاي رسي . رس هاي ماسه اي ومخلوطي از آنها مي باشند و رس ها تمايلي بيشتري نسب به خاك هاي ديگر براي خزش از خود نشان مي دهند كه تاثير منفي بر پايداري ديوار نگهدارنده در طولاني مدت دارد . به همين دليل استفاده از نيلينگ در خاك هاي رسي داراي حساسيت ويژه مي باشد كه بايد پارامترهاي خاك رسي برسي شود . تا درك درستي از توسعه خاك به خاطر آماس وفشار اضافي وتغيير شكل دراز مدت داشته باشيم. يكي از مهمترين پارامترهاي خاك هاي رسي شاخص خميري مي باشد كه بر رفتاره ديواره رسي تاثير مي گذارد كه نيازمند تحقيق ومطالعه بيشتري مي باشد. در اين مطالعه سعي مي شود شرايط مساعد خاك هاي ديواره رسي براي نيلينگ گذاري را بدست آوريم ومحدوده شاخص خميري مناسب براي نيلينگ گذاري را مشخص كنيم .Abstract Currently, one of the safest methods of lateral protection of earth pits and trenches or stone is nailing system or its Persian equivalent. Nailing is one of the most effective stabilization . methods for trenches, slopes and pits in the world. It is economically attractive and technically possible. Soils suitable and unsuitable for nailing should be examined. Also, understanding the behavior of nailing soil slope with their properties has led to the development of better understanding of changes in nail slope parameters. Shear strength and adhesion during nailing between soil and injection is an important stabilizing factor. Since soil nailing walls are now considered as permanent structures, there is a need to study and describe the creep behavior of nailing wall. Therefore, among the walls used for nailing, fine-grained soils need to be further studied. . Fine-grained soil, an important part of which includes hard to resistant clay. Clay slates. Sandy clays are a mixture of them and clays show a greater tendency to creep than other soils, which has a negative effect on the stability of the retaining wall in the long run. For this reason, the use of nailing in clay soils has a special sensitivity that the parameters of clay should be examined. To have a proper understanding of soil development due to inflammation and additional pressure and long-term deformation. One of the most important parameters of clay soils is the paste index, which affects the behavior of the clay wall, which requires more research and study. In this study, we try to obtain the favorable conditions of clay wall soils for nailing and determine the range of suitable paste index for nailing.

KIMIA ABASI 2021قدم زدن در هواي آزاد، توقف و مكث در مكان هاي تفريحي، نشستن و استراحت در مكان هاي جذاب و ديدني جزء فعاليت هاي انتخابي به شمار مي آيند. شرايط خاص فضاها جهت ايستادن، نشستن، خوردن، بازي كردن، اين فعاليت ها را تحت تأثير خود قرارمي دهند. فراهم بودن امكان مشاهده ي ديگران و رويدادهاي پيرامون يكي از عوامل تعيين كننده در ميزان پاسخگو بودن فضاست، و از جمله نيازهاي انسان است. در كنار آن نياز انسان به پيچيدگي و امكان كشف فضا ميتواند توسط خلق فضاها و منظرهاي متنوع، فعاليت هاي گوناگون باهدف تأمين تنوع، جاذبه و تجارب گوناگون و ايجاد حركت در بازديدكنندگان از فضا به وجود آيد. لنگ (1386، ص. 127) در كتاب آفرينش نظريه هاي معماري مي گويد كه اگر مردم به تماس اجتماعي نياز داشته باشند، در هر محيطي زمينه آن را فراهم مي كنند. رابطه متقابل اجتماعي براي پاسخ به نيازهاي انسان به پيوند جويي و احساس تعلق به مكان يك ضرورت است كه دليل بر مطلوب بودن تعامل اجتماعي است. لذا هر فرصتي براي دست يافتن به چنين منظوري مثبت ارزيابي شده است .دليل ديگر اين است كه فعاليت هايي چون تعامل با ديگران و مشاهده فعاليت هاي مردم، با به وجود آوردن زمينه هاي اجتماعي شدن و اجتماع پذيري به رشد فردي انسان كمك مي كنند. برخي از انديشمندان مانند هامبر (2006) معتقدند، فعاليتهاي اوقات فراغت دوران نوجواني و جواني، در مجموع براي نحوه گذران فراغت در دوران بزرگسالي بسيار مهم و تعيين كننده است .تأثيرات مهمي كه گذران اوقات فراغت در دوران معاصر بر فضاي جوامع، خانواده و جوانان گذاشته است، نه تنها مصرف كنندگان صنعت اوقات فراغت، بلكه توليد كنندگان كالاها را نيز به تنوع طلبي و ساختار شكني بنيادها وادار كرده است، تا دائما و خلاقانه عناصري را ابداع كنند و با انتخاب اجزاء متفاوت فرهنگي و تركيب آنها با يكديگر، هويت هاي جديد را بجويند.تفريح وگذران مناسب اوقات فراغت، وسيله اي موثر براي پرورش قواي فكري، جسمي و اخلاقي افراد بوده و عاملي براي جلوگيري از كجروي هاي اجتماعي محسوب مي شود (تندنويس، 94:1378 ). فضاهاي عمومي شهري يا فضاهاي جمعي شهري بستر شكل گيري حيات مدني در شهر بوده كه مناسبات چهره به چهره، تظاهرات سياسي، جشن ها و اعياد در آن برگزار مي شود و از پس اين تعاملات، بخشي از ميراث تاريخي و فرهنگي جامعه و انتقال ارزش هاي مشترك جامعه شكل مي گيرد. "فضاهاي جمعي بستر مشتركي است كه مردم فعاليت هاي كاركردي و مراسمي را كه پيونددهنده اعضاي جامعه است، در آن انجام مي دهند، چه روزمرگي هاي معمولي باشد و چه جشنواره هاي دوره اي" (مدني پور، 2000، ص. 215). كانتر (1997، ص. 158) بيان مي دارد رويدادها و تعاملات انسان ها يك مكان را خاطره انگيز مي كند و به سبب همين رويدادها خاطره جمعي شكل مي گيرد. كانتر مكان را نتيجه اي از ارتباطات ميان سه مفهوم فعاليت ها، مفاهيم و خصلت هاي فيزيكي مي داند. "آنچه مي تواند عامل مهمي در شكل گيري خاطرات جمعي باشد وجود بستر مناسبي است كه اجازه ورود افراد به آن و انجام فعاليت ها و سپس رخداد وقايعي را بدهد كه به سبب استمرار حضور و رخداد وقايع با گذشت زمان، آن مكان و آن فعاليت به كانون هاي فرهنگي آن جامعه بپيوندد. فضاي شهري بستري است كه حيات مدني در آن جريان مي يابد، واقعه ها و حادثه ها رخ مي دهد و حيات مدني را به حيات واقعه اي تبديل كرده و سبب مي گردند تا خاطره شكل گيرد و ذهن محل انباشت خاطره ها شود" (حبيبي، 1999، ص. 16) گيبسون و ايتلسون (1966، ص. 85) عنوان مي كنند آنچه معماران خلق مي كنند محيط بالقوه اي براي رفتار انسان است و آنچه شخص استفاده و تحسين مي كند، محيط مؤثر بر اوست. در واقع، هدف طراحان ايجاد محيط هايي است كه نيازهاي انسان را تأمين كنند و در اين ميان نقش علوم رفتاري در حرفه هاي طراحي، بالا بردن توانايي طراحان براي پيش بيني اثر محيط ساخته شده بر مردم است. مسأله بنيادين درك نقش محيط ساخته شده در زندگي مردم، فهم چيستي معناي محيط است.

Nano clay Effects on Warm Mixed Asphalt’s (WMA) Moisture Susceptibility and Fatigue Properties NAY
Moohamad hosein Gholami 2019Abstract: Due to increased energy consumption and environmental protection, Warm Mix Asphalt is used to produce asphalt mixtures. By reducing the temperature in the production of WMA, in addition to reducing environmental pollution and saving energy, better conditions in the workplace for workers are provided in terms of lower temperatures and less toxic emissions. In this study, we tried to measure the performance of WMA performance against moisture susceptibility, which is one of the weaknesses of this technology. Also, resistance to fatigue cracks, which is one of the most important parameters of asphalt quality measurement, is measured by bituminous refining with the help of synthetic zeolite and Nano Clay. In this study, Marshall samples were made by modified bitumen. For moisture susceptibility test by modified Lathnem method. Then, based on the acceptable percentages of the results of the moisture susceptibility test, fatigue tests were performed to evaluate the fatigue performance of asphalt mixtures. The best performance of the moisture susceptibility of the asphalt mixtures tested in this study is related to a mixture containing 5% zeolite and 7% Nano Clay by %87 of TSR which had a high increase compared to samples with no Nano Clay. Repetitive loading beam tests are the most common method for evaluating fatigue behavior of asphalt mixtures. The maximum tensile stresses and the number of loading cycles with controlled stress in the stress ratios equal to 0.2 and 0.5 of maximum tensile stresses for asphalt mixtures without additive and with different additive percentages were measured by Four-point fatigue test. Fatigue test results showed that the addition Nano Clay increases the fatigue of asphalt mixtures. The results show that the addition of Nano Clay to (3%) increases the fatigue of asphalti mixtures in all stresses ratio of the test.
