Biography

Abolfazl Neyestani has been working in the physics department of Razi University since 2017. He is a graduate of meteorology doctorate from Tehran University, Institude of Geophysics.

Dr. Neyestani's undergraduate teaching experience includes general physics, general meteorology, synoptic and physical meteorology. At the master's level, the courses taught include geophysical fluid dynamics, numerical modeling of the atmosphere and ocean, and physical climatology.   

His research interests are diverse, including issues related to numerical weather prediction, data assimilation and data mining, climate variability, and forecast verification. He is also eager to analyze meteorological time series with different statistical methods.
