Biography

Elham Darvishi holds a B.S. in Water Engineering from Razi University, and an M.S. in Hydraulic Structures from Tehran University. She received her PhD in Hydraulic Structures from Tehran University in 2014. She officially began her collaboration with Razi University in 2015, where she is now an Assistant Professor in the department of Water Engineering at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Dr. Darvishi has been teaching several courses to B.S. students such as Programming, Numerical Methods, Design of Water Supply Networks and Pipes and Closed Conduit Hydraulics. The courses she has also taught to graduate students are Optimization of water conveyance and distribution system and Computational Methods in Water Engineering. Her main research interests are Pipes' Hydraulics, Numerical Methods, and Unsteady Flow in Open and Closed Conduit. She has published single-authored as well as joint papers with her graduate students under her supervision in these areas in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
