Biography

Sohrab Delangizan is a B.S graduate of Economics from University of Isfahan and an M.S. graduate in of Economics from University of Mazandaran. He received his PhD degree in Economics from University of Isfahan in May 2008. He has started his collaboration with Razi University since 1998 and he is now an associate professor in Economics department of Razi University.

During this period, he has taught different courses such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, urban and reginal economics, tourism economics, development and economic planning, evaluation of economic plans, economic systems, and the history of economic beliefs to Bachelor, Master and PhD students.

He has established the Center of the Growth of Technology Units of the university in 2018 and at the same time he has had an effective contribution in establishing entrepreneurship management departments which offer both master and PhD programs. He was also involved in establishment of economics and e-commerce training departments in the Faculty of New Technologies. In addition, he has founded the Comprehensive Counseling Center of the Faculty of Social Sciences in Razi University in the winter of 2019 as a communication portal between the university and society. He has supervised or advised more than 120 master students and more than 10 PhD students.  

His research interests are rural and reginal economics, growth, macroeconomics and business economics.
