Biography

Aliasghar Moghaddam holds a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Urmia University. He received his PhD in Veterinary Obstetrics and Genital Diseases from University of Tehran in 2001, and officially began his collaboration with Razi University in 1990. He is now an Associate Professor in the department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
He has taught several courses to DVSc students so far, including Veterinary Obstetrics, Animal Genital Diseases, Principles of Animal and Poultry Artificial Insemination, Research Procedures, English for Special Purposes, and Clinical Practice in Theriogenology. In addition, the courses he has been teaching to PhD students include Reproductive Diseases in Horse, Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology, Advanced Veterinary Obstetrics, Clinical Diagnosis in Horse Reproductive System, and Obstetrics and Reproductive Seminar. Dr Moghaddam's main research interests are Oestrus and Ovulation Synchronization, Spermatogonium Reproductive Cell Culture, and Biology and Endocrinology of Reproduction. He has published several single-authored and joint papers in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
