Biography

Amjad Maleki holds a Bachelor degree in Natural Geography from University of Tabriz. He has a Master's degree in Geomorphology from Shahid Beheshti University. He received his PhD degree in Geomorphology from Tarbiat Modares University in 2001. He began his official collaboration with Razi University in 1991 where an Associate Professor in the department of Geography at the faculty of Humanities.
Dr Maleki has been teaching several courses to undergraduate students such as Basics of Geomorphology, Geography Information System, Karst Geomorphology, Application of GIS in Geomorphology, and Remote Sensing.
 Also, the courses he usually teaches to graduate students include Advanced Remote Sensing and GIS, Geomorphology and Surface Sediments, Geomorphology and Testing of Water Resources, Geomorphology and Cultural Sites, Applied Geomorphology
His research interests are Karst Geomorphology and Application of GIS&RS in Geomorphology.
His single-authored and joint papers have been published in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
Dr. Maleki has has been the Head of the department of Geography from 1995 to 1996 and also the General Director of University's Education Office from 2005 to 2007.
