Biography

Masoomeh Amerian holds a B.S. in Horticultural Science and an M.S. in Horticultural-Olericulture from Bu-Ali Sina University. She received her PhD in Physiology and Breeding of Vegetables from Bu-Ali Sina University in 2014. She officially began her collaboration with Razi University in 2015, where she is now an assistant professor in the department of Plant Production and Genetics at the Faculty of Faculty of Agricultural Science and Engineering.
Dr. Amerian has been teaching several courses to undergraduate students such as  Botany, Introduction to Medicinal Plants, Cultivation on Edible Mushrooms, Principles of Vegetable Growing, Vegetable Production and Growing, Vegetable Growing in Greenhouse ,Principles and Methods of Plant Propagation ,Vegetable Growing Skills ,Plant Anatomy and Physiology ,Plant Morphology and Systematics, Internship I and II, Postharvest Physiology and Technology.

Her research interests are Tissue Culture, Environmental Stresses, Plant Physiology, Hydroponics, Nanoparticles, Heavy Metals and Nutrition.

She has published single-authored as well as joint papers with her graduate students under her supervision in these areas in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
