Biography

Seyed Ehsan Fatemi holds a B.S. in Water Engineering from Razi University and an M.S. in Civil Engineering- Water Resources from Sharif University of Technology. He received his PhD in Civil Engineering- Water Resources K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2013. He began his official collaboration with Razi University in 2013. He is now an Assistant Professor in the department of Water Engineering at the faculty of Agriculture.
Dr Fatemi has been teaching several courses to undergraduate students such as Water Resources Engineering, Hydro system Management, Engineering Statistics, Engineering Hydrology, Ordinary Differential Equations, Weather and Climate.
Also, the courses he usually teaches to graduate students include Water Resources System Analysis, Advance Water Resources Engineering, Advance Engineering Statistics, Stochastic Hydrology in Water Resources, Qualitative and Quantitative Design and Operation of Water Resources.
His research interests are Modeling of Water Resources Systems, Optimization and Simulation, Testing the System Dynamics, Multi-criteria Decision Making, Adaptation to Water Shortage and Climate Change, Integrated Water Resources Management, Smart City Design, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science in Water Engineering.
His single-authored and joint papers have been published in prestigious national and international scientific journals. Dr Fatemi was selected as the top researcher of the water engineering department of Razi University in 2017 and he has also published the book titled "Stochastic Hydrology and its Applications" in Razi University Press.
