Biography

Abbas Ali Mansouri holds a BA and an MA in Islamic Philosophy and Theology from Imam Sadeq University. He received his PhD in the same field from University of Tehran in 2015 and began his official collaboration with Razi University shortly afterwards. He is now an Assistant Professor in the department of Theology (Islamic Philosophy and Theology) at the Faculty of Literature and Human Sciences.
Dr Mansouri has taught several courses to undergraduate students so far, including Logic, Theology, Prepethetic Philosophy (Hikmat Masha), and Philosophy of History. Also, the courses he has been teaching to graduate students include Ibn Sina's Logic and Hikmat Masha. His main research interests are the problem of happiness in Islamic philosophy, the problem of the proportion of theory to practice in Islamic philosophy, the problem of Evil, the discussions on the Resurrection, the discussions on quiddity and features of faith and spirituality, and the discussions on religious intellectuality. He has published his single-authored as well as joint papers -with the graduate students under his supervision - in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
