Biography

Sirous Ghobadi holds a BSc in Chemistry from Razi University and an MSc in Biochemistry from University of Tehran, where he received his PhD in the same field in 2000. He began his official collaboration with Razi University as a Lecturer and is now an Associate Professor in the department of Biology at the faculty of Sciences.
He has taught several courses to undergraduate students so far, including Structural Biochemistry, Metabolic Biochemistry, Biophysics, Radiobiology, and English for Specific Purposes. The courses he has also been teaching to graduate students include Biochemical and Biophysical Methods, Enzymology, Biochemistry of Proteins and Nucleic Acids, Physical Biochemistry, and Enzymatic Reaction Mechanisms. His main research interests are Drug-Protein Interaction and Protein Stability. His research papers (single-authored or co-authored by the graduate students under his supervision) have been published in prestigious national and international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
