Dr. Kamran Mohammadi was born on 1985 in Kermanshah/Iran. He was graduates from the National Organization for the Development of Brilliant Talents high school in Kermanshah. He was known as brilliant talent student in M.Sc. education and also ranked 1st in national entrance exam for Ph.D. in field of Water Engineering – Hydraulic Structures. He received his Ph.D. in Hydraulic Structures Engineering from the Faculty of Water and Environmental Engineering, Shahid Chamran University, Iran, in 2016. Dr. Mohammadi published more than 40 research and conference papers. Moreover, He published two books named "Hydraulic Structures" and "Sediment Transportation Hydraulics and Erosion" in Persian. His main research interests are Hydraulics, Pressure transient analysis, Leak detection, Water supply systems, River and sediment engineering, Hydraulic structures, Optimization, Multi-criteria decision making and Strategic management.

In addition, He has a great experience from 2010 as designer, project manager, top supervisor and member of technical committee in more than 35 design and construction projects like water supply, hydraulics structures, irrigation, river engineering, dam, waste water, pump stations, etc.
