Biography
Ali Ashraf Amirinejad holds a BSc in Soil Science from University of Tehran and an MSc in Soil Genesis and Classification from Shiraz University. He received his PhD in Soil Physics in January 2010 from Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI). He began his official collaboration with Razi University in September 2011 and is now an Assistant Professor in the department of Soil Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
He has taught several courses to undergraduate students so far, including Soil Physics, Soil Erosion and Conservation, Wind Erosion, and Soil, Water and Plant Relationships. Also, the courses he has been teaching to graduate students so far include Advanced Soil Physics, Advanced Soil Conservation, and Advanced Soil and Water Relationships. His main research interests are Soil Physical Health, Environmental Stresses, and Water-Soil-Plant Relationships. He has published single-authored and joint papers (with the graduate students under his supervision) in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
