Biography

Zahra Athari holds a B.S. in Agricultural Extension and Education from Razi University and an M.S. in Agricultural Extension and Education from Razi University. She received her PhD in Agricultural Extension and Education from Tarbiat Modares University in July 2015. She began her official collaboration with Razi University in 2019, where she is now an assistant Professor in the department of Agricultural Extension and Education in the faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Dr. Athari has been teaching several courses to undergraduate students such as Agricultural Extension, Extension Planning and Educational Technology. Also, the courses she usually teaches to graduate students include Advanced Sustainable Agriculture Education, Planning in Agricultural Extension, and Participation in Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resources. Her research interests are Agricultural Extension, Sustainable Development of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Rural Development and Agricultural Education. She has published single-authored as well as joint papers with her graduate students under her supervision in these areas in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
