Biography

Niloofar Seydi holds a doctorate of Veterinary (DVM) (2003 to 2009) and a PhD of Veterinary surgery from Shiraz University (2009 to 2013). She started her collaboration with Razi University in January 2015 and she officially started working as an assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Razi University.
Dr. Seydi has been teaching several courses such as: Principles of surgery and anesthesia, Large animal surgery, Small animal surgery, Veterinary radiology, Diagnostic imaging, General Surgery of large animal internship, General Surgery of small animal surgery, Basic operations of surgery and anesthesia, operations of general surgery of large animals, operations of general surgery of small animals, operations of radiology and operations in the surgery unit. Her main research interests are surgery of soft tissue, surgery of hard tissue, radiology, anesthesia, and wound healing.

She has published single-authored as well as joint papers with her graduate students under her supervision in these areas in prestigious national and international scientific journals. Dr Seydi also won the title of the best young researcher of Razi University of Kermanshah in 2018.
