Biography

Maysam Saidi is B.S. graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). He also has a Master's degree of Mechanical Engineering (Energy Conversion) from Sharif University of Technology. He took a one-year sabbatical in the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada in 2014 and received his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering (Energy Conversion) from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in 2016.  He began his official collaboration with Razi University in 2016. He is now an Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering.
Dr. Saidi has been teaching several courses to undergraduate students such as Computer Programming, Numerical Analysis, Engineering Mathematics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Introduction on Computational Fluid Dynamics, Mechanical Engineering Technical Language.
The courses he usually teaches to graduate students include Advanced Numerical Analysis, Advanced Fluid Mechanics, and Two-Phase Flows.
His research interests are Numerical Modeling, Multiphase Flows, Turbulent Flows, Biological Flows, Renewable Energy, Heat Transfer, Natural Ventilation
His single-authored and joint papers in these areas have been published in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
