Biography

Jafar Jamaati holds a B.S. in Mechanical engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and an M.S. in Energy conversion from Sharif University of Technology. He received his PhD in Mechanical engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2012 and his doctoral thesis was on " Mixing under Electro-kinetic effects".  He began his official collaboration with Razi University in 2012 where he is now an Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at the faculty of Engineering.
Dr Jamaati has been teaching several courses to undergraduate students such as Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Engineering Mathematics, Numerical Methods, and Computer programming. Also, the courses he has been teaching to graduate students include Convection Heat Transfer, Advanced Fluid Mechanics, Advanced Mathematic, Advanced Numerical Methods, Direct Energy Conversion and Selected Topics in Numerical Heat Transfer.
His main research interests are Numerical Flow and Heat Transfer including Mixing, Separation of Particle from the Flow and Heat Transfer in Phase Change Material. His single-authored and joint papers have been published in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
