Biography

Gholamreza Moradi is a B.S. graduate of Petrochemical Engineering from Petroleum University of Technology. He also has an M.S. degree of Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. He received his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering- Catalyst and Thermokinetic from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 2003. He started his official collaboration with Razi University in 1991. Dr Moradi is currently a Professor in Faculty of Petroleum and Petrochemistry.
Dr Moradi has been teaching several courses to undergraduate students such as Physical Chemistry, Refinary Calculation, Oil Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Thermodynamic I, Chemical Engineering Thermodynamic II, Industrial Chemistry and Material and Energy Balance. Moreover, the courses he usually teaches to graduate students include Advanced Chemical Engineering Thermodynamic, Hetrogeneous Catayst, and Thermophysical properties of fluid.

His research interests are Natural gas conversions (Synthesis gas production, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, Dimethyl ether production), Biodiesel production, Fuel desulfurization. His single-authored and joint papers have been published in prestigious national and international scientific journals.
Dr. Moradi has been the Head of the Department of between 2004 to 2008.
