Biography

Dr. Farahnaz Rostami is a distinguished Ph.D. graduate in Agricultural Engineering (major: Agricultural Education) from the University of Tehran, class of 2010. She completed her doctoral studies with highest distinction at the Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Development, University of Tehran, and the University of Queensland, Australia. She entered the University of Tehran for her master's degree by ranking 2nd in the national entrance exam for Agricultural Development, and completed the program with highest distinction, achieving the top rank (1st) in her cohort. She completed her bachelor's degree in Agricultural Extension and Education at Razi University in 2000–2001.

Dr. Rostami currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Education at Razi University, where she is engaged in teaching and research. Throughout her academic career, she has published over 200 scholarly works, including scientific articles, peer-reviewed conference papers, books, and research projects. In addition, she has supervised and mentored dozens of master's and doctoral students.

During her professional career, Dr. Rostami served as the Vice Dean for Education at the Faculty of Agriculture for approximately four years. She has also received numerous awards and honors, including the National Award for Distinguished Professor as a Cultural Advisor in 2013, recognition as a Top Educational Exemplar in 2023 and 2025, and being named Top Researcher of both the Faculty and the Province in 2022, 2023, and 2025.
