Biography

Marzieh Alizadeh holds BSc in Plant Protection Engineering from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz and MSc in Agricultural Entomology from Tehran University. She graduated from Tehran University in September 2012 with a degree in agricultural entomology, focusing on physiology and toxicology. In September 2013, she started her official collaboration with the Department of Plant Protection of Razi University.

During this period, she has taught courses at different grade levels, including General Zoology, Entomology, and Pests of ornamental plants and vegetables at the undergraduate level, Insect Physiology and Pesticide Toxicology courses for postgraduate students, and two courses, including Endocrine Physiology and immune systems and Environmental Toxicology for PhD students.

Her research interests are insect physiology, the immune system, and insect toxicology. Her independent and co-authored articles with her graduate students in these fields have been published in prestigious national and international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
