Biography

Davoud Gowhari holds a BA in Persian Language and Literature from Payam-e Noor University, and an MA in Theology- Islamic Jurisprudence and Legal Fundamentals from Tarbiat-e Mo'allem University in Tehran. He received his PhD in Theology- Islamic Jurisprudence and Legal Fundamentals from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2015. He officially began his collaboration with Razi University in 2017, where he is now an Assistant Professor in the department of Theology at the Faculty of Literature and Human Sciences. In addition to his academic education, Dr Gowhari has passed Islamic Seminary courses from the introductory levels up to grade 4.
Dr Gowhari has been teaching several courses to BA students such as the Basics of Law and Jurisprudence, Principles of Jurisprudence, Islamic Family Jurisprudence, Financial Transactions in Islamic Jurisprudence. The courses he has also taught to graduate students include Argumentative Jurisprudence, Discussions on Principles of Jurisprudence, Ayat al-Ahkam, and Rules of Islamic Jurisprudence. His main research interests are Modern Topics of Islamic Jurisprudence and Medical Jurisprudence.
