 Razi University

Razi University was established in February 1351 in the city of Kermanshah, which is one of the regions with good climate in the west of the country, under the title of Faculty of Science by Dr. Abdul Ali Goya Shadarwan. It began its existence at the beginning of the academic year 1531-1523 by accepting 002 students in the four fields of physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. Later, with the establishment of Kermanshah Medical School, Sanandaj Secretary Education and Ilam Animal Husbandry College, Razi University was developed and after the revolution, the said faculties were separated from Razi University and continued their activities under the titles of Kermanshah Medical Sciences Universities, Kurdistan University and Ilam University. Razi University currently has 17 faculties and continues to operate with the knowledge and expertise of 54 professors, 190 associate professors, 227 assistant professors, instructors and a total of 471 faculty members in 57 educational groups and about 12 thousand students in four levels of associate, bachelor, master and professional doctorate (general) and specialized doctorate.
